Fans celebrate Helton´s homer
I had to wait 6 hours after match and than write this article. I want to be a little bit objective. Because it was other infarct game. And it is very difficult to be fan of Rockies.
Starting pitcher Garland wasn´t very good yesterday. He pitched only 5 innings (93 pitches) and allowed 7 hits, 5 runs, 3 walks. Scahill, Lopez and Outman gave Rockies chance to tie the game. And it was Todd Helton who in 9th inning fired bomb and with 2 runs he sent the game to extra innings. Than came on the mound Betancourt and allowed 2 runs for Dodgers. Rockies didn´t find the answer and it means that they lost 4th game in row.
Rockies are now 28-27 and situation starts to be very bad.
